Barragan`s Mexican Restaurant in Burbank

Last of The Barragan's restaurants. I use to go to the one on Sunset. The beef vegetable soup cocido is.very good. Passed by, hit the brakes, turned around and went in. Sunset's cocido was as good as my Mom's. This one just isn't quite there but it is good. I will be back! My friends who never went were very impressed. Loved the Christmas decorations. They liked the food and thought them to be reasonably priced.

Barragan's is hard to miss but the drive way to the rear parking lot is, it is just off victory. I ordered the Chicken Fajitas and they are pretty good just fair warning it is in high portion. The waiters here are very friendly, I would recommend the enchiladas, as my friend had them and said "Delicious". The sides are fair, Mexican rice and re-fried beans. I would consider coming back.

Plenty of parking in their parking lot. Place is clean both inside and out. Super Friendly service, fast and attentive. I just wish the food was better. It wasn't bad, but not "Yummy". I had the Carnitas, they were just ok. My wife had the Steak Fajitas, they were on the bland side as far as taste. Not horrible but not great food.

For me it's one of the best places for great Mexican food. It's old days when you walk in with all the decorations. Plenty of comfortable seating , good lighting and friendly professional servers that have been there forever. Full bar with insanely delicious margaritas and variety of Mexican beers. There are so many choices on the menu and everything I've ever ordered was scrumptious . Plenty of parking and the prices are reasonable. My recommendation is to go during peak hours when the cooks are pumped . You will have some waiting time but for me it was always worth it .

I was very impressed . I've been to 3 other barragan's in my life. This one was very good. Very clean, very attentive, good specials. Once we got our food the food was very good everyone in my party was very happy, there was four of us.I will definitely come back to this location.

Food was pretty good as was the service and atmosphere. I just don't understand why prices are so high. It wasn't our first time here but we have friends who like it so we returned.

Not the most authentic by any stretch, but I love their food. Huge portions, everything smothered with cheese, the soft drink refills ever-flowing with fantastic service. The restaurant is quaint and cozy and they have a big patio that may be good for events. Accessible, large parking never hurt, either. Bring your Lactaid and your appetite!

Classic spot for Mexican food. The salsa has a kick and so do the margaritas.

There was a Family Outting we had a Good Time, Talking, Laughing, Eating Chip's Salsa, Some had Ice Tea, other's had Wine. Then The Dinner Came it was Fantastic. I Had Red Wine, Mole with Tongue, Rice and Beans.😇😎

The food is great the huevos rancheros, shrimp and eggs steak picado, the pozole are my favorite.Is still one of the restaurant that the food is authentic.

Don’t go here, unless you want some Tex mex cafeteria food. Prices are high. Food isn’t good. Bad to say the least. Sopes covered in lettuce. Sauce bleed all the way thru, cut of the meat was extremely fatty. Didn’t even eat it left the food. Don’t recommend

I grew up going to the original in Echo Park. Although that location is closed I'm happy the Burbank and Glendale ones are still open. Taquitos were delicious and so was the margarita! Good place to meet up with friends and family

I love their cocido (beef sup) and caldo de pollo (chicken sup). Good food and good service.

Me and my sister got food poisoning on taco Monday. They re use old food!!!! Gross don't eat the chicken.

Had a fantastic experience here with my kids. The food came quickly and the service is just awesome. Prices are convenient.

We have passed this place several times so we decided to stop and have dinner. The food was great. They serve large portions. Although it was crowded we didn't have to wait to be seated. The waitress was awesome. My husband asked about the soup of the day and it was macaroni vegetable (I think). She said it was delicious and homemade and said he would like it and he did.

Great Mexican comfort food. Great soup of the day price for menudo on Sundays. Always fresh warm chips. Taco Monday's are awesome too!

Was invited in Summer for nephews Birthday on taco night. It was delicious and great service. A very festive Mexican decor and I noticed lots of people enjoying the atmosphere

We've been coming here for over 30 years. The food is great, the service consistently good. Most of the wait staff has been here for a long time. Lovely people!The owner loves to decorate for holidays. Today the restaurant was completely decked out for St. Patrick's Day!

This place constantly delivers. They have excellent dishes for reasonable pricing, there is no waiting time even when the place is loaded.

This place is the one I like best. I eat in a lot of restaurants but here I constantly return again and again. The team is very affectionate and the cuisine they place on your table is so flavorful. I would always prefer to have a decent meal in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.

We've been going there for years. And we noticed lately the prices have been getting more higher and the food portions have been getting smaller. used to be one of our five best spots. Now it's barely making the top 10. But they do serve a good margarita.

Excellent as always! My favorite Mexican restaurant. Charming decor, and efficient waitstaff and generous portions of mouth watering food make this a popular destination.

Great food and service. Felt safe dining in, as they take take each person's temperature before seating and don't allow more than 4 people waiting inside entrance. Enjoyed sitting outside and listening to music during lunch. Will definitely come back to try the margaritas too!

Monday is dollar TACO night. Margaritas too but $8. All in all it hits the spot. Enjoy

Traditional Mexican food. Nice family friendly environment with a sports bar feel. Food is typical from northern tastes and salsas at spicy to the palate. Courteous and friendly staff. Free parking.

This was my first time there. I had the two beef taco lunch combo, should have taken a picture but I didn't. The food was ok tasting but the drinks were better, I felt the first Margarita. Great service and friendly staff nice atmosphere and plenty of parking. The bar looks inviting though not very large. I will go back because the menu looks good and I want to try more.

Service was good. The chips and salsa at the beginning were stale and tasteless. The entree's were lacking in flavor and some ingredients that should not have tasted like it tasted exactly like they came out of a can. But the service was very accommodating.

AFTER MY MOTHER IN LAW'S MEMORIAL SERVICES ON FEBRUARY 28, 2020 MY HUSBAND' WAS CHARGED 15.75 TWO TACOS N GUACAMOLE. AND HE ADDED TWO MORE TACOS AND THEY CHARGED HIM ANOTHER 15.75. ANYWAYS YOU MUST WATCH THE WAITER'S AND WAITRESSES BECAUSE THEY OVER CHARGE AND MAKE YOU PAY 22% TIP ADDED AUTOMATICALLY. THEY DOUBLED CHARGE SEVERAL PEOPLE OF THE 31 PEOPLE THAT WAS THERE FROM THE MEMORIAL SERVICES. THEY WOULD NOT SEPARATE CHECKD CAUSING CHAOS AS PEOPLE WANTED THEIR OWN CHECKS. THEY WERE NOT TO FRIENDLY PEOPLE. BUT GOD BLESS THEM.. Service was lacking for a 22% tip.

The food at Barragan's is consistently good and the staff are consistently cheerful and helpful. My favorite thing on the menu is the the ceviche. I also love the albondigas. Honest margaritas, no skimping on the tequila.I've been eating there about twice a month for a year or so.
